This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.bannersgalore.co.za.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
• When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
• Users will be prompted to register an account with North Star Branding Concepts. In so doing, users may be asked to provide the following information (“Personal Information”):

  • Bank account details
  • Company / CC / business name (if applicable)
  • Company / CC / business registration number / VAT Registration Number    
      (if applicable).

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

• Communicate with you;
• Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
• When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
• We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We will attempt to limit the types of Personal Information we process to only that to which you consent to (for example, in the context of online registration, newsletters, message boards, surveys, polls, professional announcements, SMS, MMS and other mobile services), but, to the extent necessary, your agreement to these Terms constitutes your consent as contemplated in section 69 of the Act. 

All payment information, apart from payments effected by way of electronic funds transfer, will be captured through the Website through a third party payment gateway, currently, Payfast. Further, North Star Branding Concepts, a division of North Star Reputation Management, may retain payment information on behalf of its users.

We will not collect, use or disclose sensitive information (such as information about racial or ethnic origins or political or religious beliefs, where relevant) except with your specific consent or in the circumstances permitted by law.

By agreeing to the terms contained in this Privacy Policy, you consent to the use of your Personal Information in relation to:

• The provision and performance of the Services, as defined in our Terms of Services located at www.bannersgalore.co.za/termsofservice.
• Informing you of changes made to our Website
• The provision of marketing related services to you by the Company

• Developing a more direct and substantial relationship with users for the purposes described in this clause

• While we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any Personal Information you provide us, we will continue to maintain and improve these security measures over time in line with legal and technological developments.
• We store your Personal Information directly, or alternatively, store your Personal Information on, and transfer your Personal Information to, a central database. If the location of the central database is located in a country that does not have substantially similar laws which provide for the protection of Personal Information, we will take the necessary steps to ensure that your Personal Information is adequately protected in that jurisdiction.

• Your information will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the  purposes described in these Terms or as required by applicable legislation.
• The Personal Information the Company collects from users shall only be accessed by North Star Branding Concepts, a division of North Star Reputation Management, employees, representatives and consultants on a need-to-know basis, and subject to reasonable confidentiality obligations binding such persons. 
• North Star Branding Concepts a division of North Star Reputation Management, shall have the right, but shall not be obliged, to monitor or examine any information and materials including any website link that you publish or submit to North Star Branding Concepts for publishing on the www.bannersgalore.co.za website.  You shall be solely responsible for the contents of all material published by yourself.
• We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our users. We do not accept any users, or representatives of users, under 18 years of age or who otherwise does not have the relevant capacity to be bound by these Terms.
• You hereby consent to the sale, sharing, or rental of your Personal Information, apart from payment information, to third parties to the extent necessary. We will not use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of our Services and/or the marketing thereof.
